Mr. Austin Council, UF/IFAS Dept. of Agricultural Education and Communication Doctoral Candidate.

Austin is a third year Ph.D. student in the UF Agricultural Education & Communication Department. He was born in Bradenton, FL and grew up in the Tampa Bay area. Austin’s primary research focus is the intersection of humility and leadership, specifically how humility is developed and expressed. He is graduating in May 2019. For fun, Austin enjoys attending live music concerts, traveling, hosting dinner parties and cooking for his amazing friends, and working out at his local CrossFit gym.

Dr. Jenn Wert, UF/IFAS Dept. of Agricultural Education and Communication Doctoral Graduate.

Jennifer Wert is a Leadership Development PhD student originally from Tampa, Florida who has spent the past 12 years in Gainesville. Jenn has a sincere passion for leadership education, mentorship, women in leadership, her faith, and serving others. Upon completion of her Ph.D. Jenn plans to work with students as a professor of leadership education. For fun Jenn likes to spend time in the Florida sunshine boating, swimming, and exploring new places. Jenn also loves do it yourself projects and crafting.
