On September 22-23rd, 2017, members of Class X and the Alumni Association traveled with the Colorado Ag Leadership Program as they toured Highlands County.
Many thanks are due to Aaron Himrod (Class X), Ray Royce (Class VII), Charlie Wilson (Class VII), Noah Handley (Class IX), and Carl Bauman (Class VIII) for speaking to the class and being such great representatives of our Florida program!
On Friday evening, 25 alumni and Class X members came to the Watering Hole in Sebring, FL, to join the CO Ag leadership program. (In total we outnumbered their class!)
Thank you to all who joined us for the evening! It was a great night of leadership networking!
From Dr. Carter:
“The Colorado Ag Leadership Program wrapped up their Florida trip on Saturday night being hosted by Shane Platt and Carol Platt (Class II) on their beautiful ranch. Even a little rain couldn’t dampen the mood or the wonderful evening! It was a wonderful evening of food, fellowship and leadership! Special thanks to Shane and Carol for hosting and Farm Credit of Central Florida for providing the outstanding meal! And of course, to our chefs and folks that made the evening possible: Reggie and Gaye Holt (Class VI), David (Class V) and Nancy (Class III) McDonald, and Billy Butterfield (Class VI)! The Colorado group kept commenting on the hospitality of the WLI alums and how engaged they are–which is what makes this program so special!”
