Day Two in Review:
The second day of the annual meeting was packed with incredible speakers, the Commissioner of Agriculture Candidate Forum & Luncheon, and the annual Live Auction!

Dr. Matthew Sowcik serves as an Assistant Professor of Leadership Education in the Department of Agricultural Education and Communication at the University of Florida. Dr. Sowcik’s presentation, “Leadership and the Power of Recognition & Appreciation: Anniversary Edition,” provided perspectives and survey research collected from our very own alumni!  Expect access to the results of his presentation survey very soon.

Mr. Matthew Johnston, a graduate of Class II of the Florida Leadership Program for Agriculture and Natural Resources and current CEO of Vegetables for Syngenta, was our second speaker for the second day of the annual meeting. His presentation, “Leadership from a 30,000 ft. View,” gave alumni global perspectives on production agriculture and challenged those in attendance to lead with the world’s future in mind.
